Application examples for ARIMOS control

Application example 1

  • In a crystallizer, crystal growth, agglomeration and crystal breakage are monitored by ARIMOS crystal and ARIMOS analyze.
  • When a desired particle size distribution is reached, ARIMOS control initiates the termination of the crystallization process by opening an outlet valve.

Application example 2

  • In the head of an absorption column, ARIMOS entrain and ARIMOS analyze detect the spray-like entrainment of the solvent.
  • The flow rate of the gas stream is adjusted by ARIMOS control so that a tolerable extent of entrainment (size, velocity, etc.) is not exceeded.
