Laboratory sensor

enifAT

Our robust image-based particle measurement technology as a flexibly deployable laboratory sensor for a wide range of applications in particle laboratories.

Precise particle analysis directly in the pilot plant

enifAT is a versatile laboratory sensor used to screen crystals, solids, bubbles and droplets in liquids. The design of the flow cell allows integration in bypass mode and requires only small sample volumes.

Frequently asked questions about the sensor technology

Is the process connection variable?

Yes, the process connection can be adapted to your individual requirements. Please note that for rental units and measurement campaigns only a limited selection of process connections is available.

Is the sensor available with ATEX certification?

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer a version with ATEX certification. Please contact us if your requirements call for an ATEX design.

What materials are the wetted parts made of?

We currently manufacture all wetted parts in high-grade stainless steel and rely on sapphire glass and durable seals. Get in touch with us if your application requires more resistant materials.

Is the sensor's measuring principle laser-based?

No, our sensors are based exclusively on an imaging measuring principle. This gives you the advantage of measuring particle shapes in addition to the particle size distribution. In addition, the image provides a direct and verifiable basis for the results.

How high is the temporal resolution of the measurement?

With our sensor technology, you can capture up to 10 images per second and evaluate them in real time. For dynamic processes, complex measurement protocols with varying acquisition rates are available.

Can the laboratory sensor also be used online?

Yes, the laboratory sensor has a sample loop. It can therefore be equipped with a sample reservoir as well as operated in bypass mode.

What is included in the scope of delivery?

The sensor is equipped with a compact control cabinet. A circulation pump is optional. For more information on cable lengths and dimensions, please request a datasheet from us.
